What is REPSE? >>>
The REPSE is the "Registry of Specialized Service Providers" that was implemented in Mexico as a result of the 2021 labor reform, specifically in relation to outsourcing. This registry is part of a regulatory framework that seeks to ensure that companies providing specialized services comply with tax, labor, and social security requirements.
1
Am I required to register with the REPSE?
Companies that provide specialized services, as well as those that use these types of services, must be registered with the REPSE. This includes any entity that carries out subcontracting activities, except those that provide general services that are not included in the list of specialized services.
2
What are the requirements to register with REPSE?
Companies must meet certain requirements in order to register. These may include:
Have a tax domicile in Mexico.
Be up to date with your tax and social security obligations.
Not having committed serious violations of labor legislation.
3
Why might my registration be denied?
The STPS may deny registration mainly for not proving compliance with tax and social security obligations, another reason would be because the documents uploaded to the platform are not legible or because the activities for which registration is requested do not correspond to those established in the corporate purpose of the natural or legal person.
