1
SIROC is part of the IMSS strategy to supervise and regulate construction companies, ensuring that they comply with their responsibilities of affiliation, presentation of information, and payment of employer-employee contributions for their workers.
2
SIROC is mainly regulated by the Social Security Law and its regulations. In specific terms, article 12 of the Regulations on Compulsory Social Security for Construction Workers establishes the obligation of employers to register the works and provide detailed information about the project.
3
Employers must register each construction project in the SIROC before it starts. This register includes relevant data such as the name of the project, location, budget, type of project, start and end date, and the number of workers who will be involved.
4
You are required to submit the Construction Registration Notice to the SIROC (Comprehensive Construction Works Registration Service) when, as a natural person or legal entity, you are permanently or sporadically engaged in construction activities and hire workers for a specific project or time. This obligation is established in article 12 of the Regulations of the Mandatory Social Security for Construction Workers for a Specific Project or Time (ROTC).
